The Company’s Party Committee Holds a WarningEducation Conference

On August 12,the PartyCommittee of China Eleventh Chemical Construction Company Limited convened a warningeducation conference,where typical cases of violations of discipline and law were notified for disciplinary warning education.Zhu Wenjun,Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company,attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

During the conference,all participants collectively watched the warningeducation documentary Eliminating Corrupt Elements inside Stateowned Enterprises.The meeting reported typical cases of violations of discipline and law investigated by the Group’s disciplineinspection system and the company’s Commission for Discipline Inspection,conducted an indepth analysis on the problems and lessons exposed by these cases,and carried out warning education activities.

The meeting pointed out that the abovementioned cases have laid bare prominent problems among a small number of cadres,including distorted views on performance,weak and diluted responsibilities for Party governance,and lax internal supervision and management.The lessons are profound and thoughtprovoking.All cadres and staff should take these cases as a mirror for selfreflection and always stay alert against risks.

The meeting stressed the following requirements.First,raise political awareness,fully understand the connotation of a sound view on performance,and assume responsibilities with a rigorous work style.Leading cadres at all levels should thoroughly study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on establishing and practicing a correct view on performance,set the fundamental direction for work delivery,fully recognize the guarantee function of strict Party and corporate governance for corporate development,and consolidate the primary responsibility at grassroots levels.Principals of all units must be courageous in enforcing strict management.

Second,draw profound lessons from the notified cases,uphold a correct view on performance,and build a solid ideological defense line for integrity at work.Leading cadres at all levels shall calibrate their performanceoriented goals,consolidate their ideals and convictions,strictly observe disciplines and rules,keep a close watch on key integrityrisk links,strengthen accountability awareness,and resolutely rectify the grassrootslevel problems of“unwillingness or timidity to exercise supervision”.

Third,enforce longterm strict corporate governance,and drive improvements in project management quality and efficiency guided by a correct view on performance.Partyorganizations at all levels shall earnestly fulfill their primary responsibility for full and strict governance over the Party,deliver daily education and supervision duties,and carry out regular integrity reminders and warningeducation activities.Supervision shall be extended to the“critical minority”,key posts,the full lifecycle of project operation,grassroots branches and frontline project teams,so as to close“the lastmile gap”in supervision and management.

The meeting required all units to take this warningeducation conference as a fresh startingpoint,firmly establish a correct view on performance,coordinate business development and compliance control,fully implement primary responsibilities,continuously strengthen both ideological and institutional defense lines,and foster a sound development environment featuring compliant operation,integrity and solid delivery.All staff shall pursue practical work with sustained perseverance and forge ahead to remedy work weaknesses,improve performance efficiency,and lay a firm foundation for the company to achieve its“10BillionYuan Construction Enterprise”goal.
