To thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives on work safety, fulfill the requirements of the "Ten Rigid Measures" for central enterprise work safety issued by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, create a strong atmosphere for the "Work Safety Month" campaign, comprehensively deploy work safety and environmental protection priorities. On June 2, the Eleventh Chemical Construction Company of China Chemical Engineering (China Chemical 11th Chem-Con) convened the 2026 "Work Safety Month" launch meeting. Yao Jinghao, Deputy Director of the Company's Work Safety Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and General Manager, attended the meeting and delivered a special lecture on work safety and environmental protection.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives, the work requirements for central enterprises issued by SASAC, and the spirit of the Group Company's Safety, Quality, and Environmental Protection Conference. It also publicized and promoted the company's activity plan for the 2026 "Work Safety Month."

During the meeting, Yao Jinghao officially announced the launch of the company's 2026 "Work Safety Month" campaign, and delivered a special lecture themed "Establishing and Practicing the Correct View of Political Achievements to Build a Solid Safety Foundation for the Company's High-Quality Development."

The lecture once again emphasized General Secretary Xi Jinping's dialectical perspective on the relationship between development and security, noting that maintaining stability and ensuring safety also constitute "political achievement." It focused on four aspects: analysis of typical work safety accident cases, strengthening the work safety responsibility system, implementing the "Four New" requirements, and practicing the correct view of political achievement to safeguard safety with confidence and resolve. The lecture also conducted in-depth study of typical cases, including the "May 4" fireworks factory explosion in Liuyang, Hunan, the "May 22" coal mine explosion in Qinyuan, Shanxi, and the "May 31" collapse accident involving illegal mining of mineral resources in Huize, Yunnan. Specific requirements were put forward for integrating the Company's "Four New" with safety work and for creating "Star-rated Standardized Construction Sites." It stressed the need to earnestly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives, thoroughly carry out "penetrating supervision" and "integrated management and control," and promote the Company's high-quality development through high-level work.

The meeting emphasized that, first, lessons must be drawn from cases to ensure the primary responsible person fulfills their duties; second, all personnel must perform their duties to jointly advance the implementation of safety responsibilities; third, a solid defense line must be built and risk investigation and emergency preparedness strengthened to truly achieve the goal of "everyone talks about safety, everyone can respond to emergencies," thereby ensuring the Company's high-quality development through high-quality safety work.

The principal heads of various departments at the headquarters, all branch and subsidiary companies, and project departments, as well as safety management personnel, attended the meeting through a combination of online and offline methods.
